AFROPUNK Brazil Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Board your flight from Johannesburg (JNB) to São Paulo (GRU) and catch a connecting flight to Salvador (SSA). Upon arrival in Salvador you will be transferred to your accommodation and relax and settle into your hotel.

Day 2
Morning: Start your day with a delicious Brazilian breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, embark on the Salvador Negra Walk through Pelourinho, an iconic historical district. Discover the rich Afro-Brazilian culture and history of the area.
Evening: Join the Bó Comê Água tour, a unique bar-hopping experience through Pelourinho. Visit 5 distinctive bars and enjoy drinks that showcase Bahian flavors.

Day 3
Morning: Start your day with a delicious Brazilian breakfast at the hotel.

Today is the much-anticipated AFROPUNK BAHIA Festival day! Join the vibrant festivities featuring music, art, fashion, and a celebration of Black Culture. Enjoy the energetic performances and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere. Two stages, +20 hours of live programming, 50,000 people. Welcome to AFROPUNK BAHIA!!

Transfers to and from the hotel & festival will be provided, with a special drink to add into the excitement.

Day 4
Morning: Start your day with a delicious Brazilian breakfast at the hotel.

Make your second day more memorable than the first at the AFROPUNK BAHIA Festival. Once again, you’ll have transfers to and from the hotel & festival, along with a special drink to enhance and keep your festive energy going.

Day 5
Morning: Start your day with a delicious Brazilian breakfast at the hotel.

Enjoy a free day to explore Salvador at your own pace. You could venture into local markets, visit museums, relax on the beach, or discover hidden gems in the city.

Day 6

Get ready for our unforgettable Afroboat experience! Here we will cruise on a speedboat or catamaran ride, enjoying drinks, food, and entertainment while cruising along the stunning coastline.

Day 7

Check out from your accommodation and prepare for your next adventure in Rio! Be transferred to the airport and board your flight from Salvador (SSA) to Rio de Janeiro (SDU).

Day 8

Kick off your shoes, take in some sun, reflect on the festival or perhaps explore more of Rio de Janeiro, relaxing on the beach, or engaging in local cultural experiences. This is your free day to take it all in.

Day 9

Join the walking tour of Little Africa to uncover the historical connections between Rio de Janeiro and its African heritage. Explore the roots of Afro-Brazilian cultures through this guided tour. Enjoy a free afternoon to further explore the city or take some downtime into the beach night life.

Day 10

Enjoy a relaxing free day and do as you please. You could revisit your favorite spots, do some souvenir shopping, or simply get a coconut & unwind by the beach all day.

Day 11
Morning: Start your day with a delicious Brazilian breakfast at the hotel.

Yet another day to enjoy at your leisure. You might want to revisit any sites of interest, try local cuisine, or just soak in the atmosphere.

Let’s get together for a farewell dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Day 12

It’s time to check out from your accommodation. Transfer to the airport and board your flight back home, departing from Rio de Janeiro (SDU) connecting through São Paulo (GRU) to Johannesburg (JNB).
